The problem with that loot system is that if you need only one or two items from the whole instance it doesn't really make you wanna join.
First you have to clear the whole instance and then roll for the only item you need with 10 other guys. Like Vanq headtoken for example.
The other 10 guys may have allready picked up one, two or even three upgrades but that doesn't put you in any better position.
Other than that, I think this is a great idea.
